Research
Research encompasses the rest of the design steps. Research in design ranges from reading news, articles, and books to meeting the stakeholders. It also includes brainstorming in a design sprint which can ignite research questions which.
Define
After gathering all that data, we need to organise & synthesise the data into meaningful and understandable deliverables. The key deliverables in this step could be affinity map, empathy map, persona, user journey map, user flow, and more.

Prototype
Since we have most information we need for the design part, we can get into the prototyping phase. Here, it is essential that we keep empathising with our users even when workingon the high-fidelity design.

Determine design patterns, elements of template pages, different framework options, and work with developers to test design functionality.
